1. What Are the Visual Mind system requirements?

You can find the Visual Mind system requirements on the Visual Mind download page.

2. Is Visual Mind available for Mac?

There is no native Mac version of Visual Mind. But it is possible to run Visual Mind on a Mac by using a Windows emulator software. Windows emulator software means software that emulates a Windows PC environment and allows you to run software designed for Windows on a Mac.
One example of a Windows emulator software, is Parallels Desktop. You can read more about Parallels Desktop at:

3. What are the feature differences between the Basic and Business Edition of Visual Mind?

1. I am not able to download Visual Mind. Why?

A possible reason for downloading problems may be that your web browser does not support JavaScript. If you have problems with downloading Visual Mind from the official download page, you may download Visual Mind from the following locations:

2. Is there an online user manual available?

Yes, a compilation of the Visual Mind help documentation can be download as a single PDF document by clicking here.

Order questions

1. What does Visual Mind cost?

2. What payment methods do you accept?

You can order Visual Mind with the following methods:
- Credit card payment, credit card details sent by secure order form. For more information, click here.
- International Check. For more information, click here.
- Wire transfer. For more information, click here.

3. How do I order Visual Mind, using the Visual Mind online order form (and a credit card)?

You can order Visual Mind from the Visual Mind order page. There, find the product you want to purchase in the table and press the "Buy" link to the right of the price and product information.

You will now be directed to our online order form where you are asked to fill out your personal information. After you have done this, select "Credit Card" from the dropdown menu labeled "Payment option" under Payment Method, and press "Next".

On page two, fill in your credit card information, and press "Next" at the bottom of the page.

On page three, review the personal information you have entered, the product and the final price. If applicable, VAT is now added to the total price. Press "Order" only after you are absolutely sure that the information is correct.

4. Can I place an order by International Check?

5. Can I place an order by Wire Transfer/Direct Deposit?

Yes. For more information, see the Visual Mind order page.

6. How is Visual Mind delivered to me?

The default delivery method of Visual Mind is that the user downloads a free 30-day trial copy of Visual Mind. When the user purchases a license of Visual Mind, a license code will be delivered to the user by e-mail. When the license code is entered into the free trial copy, the trial copy will be converted into a permanent copy of Visual Mind.

7. How long will it take before I receive the license?

All orders are handled by an automatic ordering system. Normally, you will receive your Visual Mind license within 30 minutes after placing your order.

8. I need an invoice. Can you supply me with one?

Yes. Just send us an e-mail to sales@visual-mind.com and we will supply you with an invoice. Please include the order number (the number that starts with "RE...") in the e-mail, so we are able to find your order.

9. What about currency?

Users do not need to worry about currency. All orders, included order from customers outside the U.S. are handled in US Dollars (unless the user chooses another currency in the online order form). But the credit card company will use the present currency rates to convert the payment and charge your card in your local currency.


Visual Mind on terminal servers

1. Can Visual Mind be installed on a terminal server?

Yes, Visual Mind can be installed on a terminal server (Windows Server, Citrix, etc.). The install procedure uses the normal installation program with just a few modifications. For more information, see How do I install Visual Mind on a terminal server?.

2. How is the Visual Mind terminal server pricing?

The Visual Mind pricing model does not differentiate between terminal server users and users having Visual Mind installed locally. Hence, the pricing is the same for both user categories.

3. How do I install Visual Mind on a terminal server?

Here is the procedure of installing Visual Mind on a terminal server:

1.On the terminal server, log on as Administrator and run the standard Visual Mind installation program. On some systems, you must manually set the server in "install" mode before running the installation program, but normally this is automatically done for you.

2. When the Visual Mind installation program is completed, set the terminal server back to "execute mode", if this is not automatically done.

3. If you have purchased Visual Mind licenses, the next step will be to enter the licenses. For more information, see How do I enter the Visual Mind license(s) on a terminal server?

4. How do I enter the Visual Mind license(s) on a terminal server?

Here is the procedure of entering the Visual Mind license(s) on a terminal server:

1. On the terminal server, log in as Administrator and run the Visual Mind activation procedure (for more information, see the e-mail that contains your Visual Mind license(s)). When you are asked for Visual Mind serial number/serial key, press Cancel.

2. For each user: The first time Visual Mind is run, select "Enter Serial Key" in the first dialog box that appears. Then, type in the Visual Mind serial number/serial key. Note: Ifyou have a license that accepts multiple users (common with orders of more then 10 licenses), users may type in the same serial number/key. If you have licenses prepared for single users (common with order of 10 users or less), each user must type in unique serial number/key combinations.

Subscription questions

1. What Are Visual Mind Subscriptions?

A Visual Mind Subscription is an alternative payment method that enables you to subscibe to Visual Mind, rather than purchasing a full license. For more information, click here.

2. How do I prepare Visual Mind for using Subscription?

To prepare Visual Mind for using Subscriptions, you must run a small configuration program. A link to the program is included in the e-mail that is sent to you when you purchase a Visual Mind Subscription. Alternatively, you can find the download address below:

3. How do I disable Visual Mind Subscription?

If your copy of Visual Mind currently is configured for using a Visual Mind Subscription and you would like it to use a Visual Mind serial number & serial key, please do the following:

1. Download a small Visual Mind configuration program from the following address:
http://www.visual-mind.com/prep/vm11subscrdisable.exe

2. Run the program you downloaded in step 1. Please make sure that you have administrative access rights to the computer when you run the program, as the configuration program modifies your Visual Mind installation. It might be necessary to right-click the vm11subscrdisable.exe file and select "Run as Administrator".

Start Visual Mind and verify that it no longer asks you for your Visual Mind Subscription ID. If it still asks you for your Visual Mind Subscription ID, it indicates that special security settings are applied to your computer.
